Possible to code something like this? I'm not well versed with writing C but I do understand it for the most part when I read it. So when the scroll is used the server would do a check of the players current coordinates and set that location as their recall point on the next recall used, then default to the previous blue square.

I feel like this could be abused very easily...

Imagine using it in Labyrinth 4. You could walk to get your codes normally. The problem comes in when you go in, walk to the guards, "mark" your scroll, and then walk to the area where the pears are. Then the player could basically "teleport" to the guards and skip the difficult part.

Perhaps it could be coded in that the "Marked Scroll of Recall" could not be used in certain areas.(Labyrinth's would allow the regular "Scroll of Recall" but a "Marked Scroll of Recall" would not work.)

At this point, you could, bring in another profession...called "Notary". This allows the players to notarize a scroll and turn it into a "Marked Scroll of Recall".
This profession could require the use of inks, feathers, and parchment.

There can be different inks, feathers, and parchment. Out of all of these, the rarer ones will be the ones required to create marked scrolls that can be used at great distances.

Once I get the map editor downloaded and start working on the Brannington Forest I think this is where I will implement the first area for obtaining the proper resources for a player who is a "Notary".

Also, as I noted that their are different levels of materials needed for this, that means there will have to be a few more areas in the map where these resources can be obtained.

I say Brannington Forest because it is an undeveloped area that needs new content.

This literally came to me as I went and I understand this possibly is not a priority topic. Let me know what you all think. I need to know what you guys are aiming for.
