1-2 extra welds

Post by Korsakoff » Fri Jul 11, 2014 10:12 pm

I feel like with home the current gear system is, another extra 1-2 welds would help out alot, especially a lower one, 18 just feels a litle late for me?

I'm going to stand up and say welds should be reusable so long as equipment is lost on death, and equipment is so hard to find/make. You shouldn't have to raise extra characters for equipment. Maybe once a month or so.

I was actually thinking of using Jobbington for this:

Sir Jones sells a weld that increases in BP needed every time you want one

First few couple be cheap but later ones ramp up in how many BPs you need

i have actually been thinking about a completely different method of welding. i propose that ALL weld shrines be removed, and a npc be added to aston, which sells welds. the way it would work is, the price of the weld would increase according to the stat value. for example, a +5 single stat weld would cost 500g a dual +5 stat would cost 1000g, and a tri stat of +5 would be 1500g. obviously price would increase largely for high stat values.

Also fine. Whatever method, as long as you can keep on doing it. I like the "for sale" version.

I think linking it to gold limits its accessability for new low lvl players?

Yea, but I've long said jobby should pay better at low levels anyways.

I like that jobby idea. Welds are definitely something that we should take a look at. Personally, the gear system from NW is something I like, and I would like to see it worked in Ugaris in some way.
